Who do you think you are?

Who do you think you are?

I first met her in a *Bar; she was so cute but not a Star. My journey this far too this joint was long but let me get to the point.
I had lived a life of sin, constantly warring with my flesh, my private Demons within.
Romance and dance, wine and women and I always wore my fancy pants.
You would think I would be singing Oh happy day especially with a new conquest coming my way!
But the opposite was true, I was miserable for sure, life was a big bore.
In the darkness, sleepless upon my bed I cried out for a long time; God if you exist give me a sign.
He sent special people to me with his word, a gift from the Divine.
As I would drive home from work each day a thought would always enter my mind.
I knew it was God and He would always say; do you want to live the rest of your life this way, alone?
I gave up the fight and said OK but you send the right one to be the love of my life like Eve, ** bone of my bone.

So when she walked by me that night and I said hello, she stopped and smiled like I was someone she did know.

I now know who you are; you are my Lord Jesus who brought us together in one accord.
A Marriage made in Heaven is a great reward; many die in the dust of time as by the sword.

*She was actually in the Restaurant part of the establishment and not the Bar area.

**It was in the Garden of Eden when Jesus the Word of God and the Creator of all things took a rib from Adam and made the first woman Eve, woman translated means; from Man. It has been 48 years since He arranged our Marriage, how wonderful that He heard my prayer at the time of my great despair, now I know He exists because He lives in my heart! I would like to add that the reason my wife stopped when I said hello was that she recognized me from the Boat ride to work we both took, she and her sister saw me every morning at the snack bar having my coffee with friends. This was part of the Lord's plan to bring us together by recognition.
