The flower

by Nadia Selmann Casia   Aug 31, 2015

A landscape full of stone
grey and filled with dust
flying in the lonesome air
two angels, and a man
who, by hope was given wings
but soon he flew away,
why, is very hard to tell
should it make a brighter day?
the angels kept their faith
and kissed a seed to life
the seed it grew for love, from stone
it didn't last for long
believe was hard to bear
the flower soon would fade.
then sorrow made the water drop
on the flower, that was kissed to life
so now my heart believes
that love can grow from rocks
because I know these angels must
even though he flew
make a start, brand new
by cry the tears they should
then thinking thoughts of joy.
while looking at the moon.
