Me: How to stop time (Acrostic)

by Mr. Darcy   Sep 16, 2015

Move back in time, and dream...
Eventually your face may look younger than mine.

:

Have Botox
Or
Wind the hair bun tight

Time keeps ticking
Oh try as you might

Surgery
To cut those eye bags
Off
Pull skin harder, just don't cough

Try to
Invent a machine...
Move back in time, and dream...
Eventually your face may look younger than mine - Once more...

Sarcastic irony at its best, Michael. This is the stuff that nightmares are made from.

Can you imagine actually living with someone who's need for superficial youth is so great that they Michael Jackson themselves into grotesque manikins? ("Pull skin harder, just don't cough")

Yet, I feel the need for some fat to be vacuumed from my belly - liposuction: so much easier than earning it by diet and exercise.

Lol, wind the hair bun tight...:)

Real people have real wrinkles and grey hairs and all the things that make them human. Who wants to be plastic? Would you want to trade places with Burt Reynolds when you are as old as he and shave behind the ears? :0)
There is nothing lovable about being fake in any way, shape or form, give me real people every day.

A thought provoking poem, excellent work.

    5/5
