The Puzzle of Life

by Shinobi   Oct 4, 2015

The puzzle of life bears no solution
As pieces lay in disarray beyond sight
Secrets of the heart bear no conclusion
Revealed only to those not feeble in mind

Questions and answers encompass each day
As a challenge ends new mornings shine
A symphony led by a marvelous play
Sweet tunes of hope slowly align

For the chaos suddenly breaks the melody
Instruments play the strings of your heart
Pieces dancing, revealed brightly
Secrets unburied breaking apart

Taken by a moment of passionate remorse
Intoxicated by feelings long gone
Unfamiliar emotion from a foreign source
A memory created in the break of dawn

The puzzle of life is never solved
Yet new hope rises with each new day
For the soul has grown keen, evolved
But the heart stubborn, led astray

The puzzle of life embodies affection
Destructively playing a melody bitter-sweet
Although no human knows perfection
Love is the poison which makes us complete

A very good piece with a smooth and rhythmic ABAB rhyme structure - well written.
    All the best
