Christmas Pine

by Everlasting   Dec 24, 2015

Tip toeing 'round a tree of thoughts,
the one that has spheres like planets;
each orbiting inside a branch of a galaxy,
I go,
with my eyes,
looking
from bottom up,
seeing
some lights as brights as stars,
surrounded by
big,
red
bow ties
as if the bow ties
were
a Chelsea
for the lost
to be guided onto the path
that leads
to
the
biggest
of
the stars

Jesus Christ

or

the angel
that lights
the path

on the Christmas Pine.

It takes me back to them days where we would look at the bottom first to see how many presents were there. The lights made it more magical. Beautiful write. Merry Christmas.

A lovely poem here and one that reminded me of my childhood when I would look "from the bottom up" and be transported to a different world of lights and magic!
    All the very best
