Am I bound?

Am I bound?

To another am I found, when I awake with the first big breath I take, my first thoughts are what should I put in my breakfast shake?

Then as the cobwebs melt away and my brain clears, the radio squawk box whines out the news that can bring one to tears, I know they have an agenda but to that I refuse to surrender.

Like many others I am bond by my faith but does that make them my brothers?
Who is right, who is wrong? The Religion of my youth sings its song, is mine right and theirs wrong, how many serve a god of let's get along, some love the World or are they just spoiled?

Then a thought formed in my mind, not my own but the spiritual kind, I heard; who formed you in your mother's womb, who in the end will send you to a tomb?

Each days decisions you make, how do you know that any one of them could be a big mistake. Remember when you drove your car into the lake or a job's decision that almost ended your future's mission?

Are your paths guided by me your God or by the flowers in your yard? One with Nature is fine but going too far can get you drunk with Dandelion wine.
I Am your God, never will I leave or forsake you, you I saw that day I came your way, my Spirit convicted you of your sins, down on your knees you fell, repentant and fearing the punishment of Hell, Eternal separation from me was tolling the bell.

I am bound with cords of love from above, please guide me Lord as I acknowledge you in all my ways and as you Word declares, you will direct my path all my days!

Thanks Ben, I could not leave humor out it, I believe God has a sense of humor, he made the Apes to look and act like us, he made the Parrots to talk like us. I told my friend Allen about God having a sense of humor, when he asked why I believed that I said; he has to because he made you!-Ha-Ha
