Little toes

by Sherry Caayupan   Jan 16, 2016

A kindred spirit i was,
at seconds or at one,
light of the room to pass,
she held me beloved of ton;
these walls witnessed no pain,
no melancholy or folly,
cloth of pure heart with no stain,
together live in happily;
there's a silent hush in my cry,
a cry of less distant gladness,
it's as if we are all lovers who fly,
this kind of love's one true madness...
