Mirror Talk

by Yatubeera Resty   Feb 20, 2016

Am consultant to the great and small, in fact all ages that know of my existence
Politicians and civilians, housewives and maidens, boys and girls
By me first they all stand, upright presenting their full image
And I, provide a professional correction- mind directed as thy search about themselves for my approval

If only they knew, only deep in their eyes lays true persona
As each face I two eyes meant to envision, one should always look beyond the surface thus easing my work
I mostly rejoice with the smiling faces, dance with the young love dress up
For with them its an endless stare of love for perfection
But then comes the Causal smarts, same look with different dressing
Even with such obvious looks, I still must tell the difference
Its my job after all- to counsel all that stand before me
I must be satisfied with each look or Else their reflection will blur.
