The Heavens

by Michael D Nalley   Feb 21, 2016

On this tiny speck of cosmic dust,
which has been imagined to be thrust
into the endless dark void of space
observed now by the whole human race.

Dependent on wholesome atmosphere
it's set an ambient tone this year
that has often rocked my stable world.
Consequently I'm once again hurled
when our world turns it moves forward.
Places of punishment and reward
is such a universal concept
in wanting environments inept.
