Swan Lake

by GB   Jun 21, 2016

Swan Lake

Between snowy shadows,
a grace reflected,
pirouetting,
upon the moonlight,
yearning...

Who dares
to say,
"curse from heaven"?

Therein, the aquatic arabesque
of benevolence,
paradoxically,
enslaving...
Unto surrender, leading,

for the prisoner's seemingly
poor Siegfried,
not the celestial spirit of yours.

Lost
amidst ages,
melodies mythologized,
pleading
behind sinful bars of sorcery.

Strive on, delicate one,
a transformation approaching
through the eyes of choreography.
