The big question

by patrick   Jun 28, 2016

A life here after?
Are we blowing smoke rings in a gale?
The mind knows not gravity
Limitations a stranger

Voices call to me in my head
Illusions, hallucinations God?
Until we meet again
On that other plane no answers?

Knowing that we are all in this world together
Cold comfort in the random spin of life
Free will is a costly gift
Before I play natures compelling game
Before I step along this life's confusing paths
No matter
I can't be what I am not

Who made up these rules?
