Forgiveness

by Michael LoMonaco   Aug 13, 2016

The sword of fury stabs us in the back,
Sparking the fire by resentment.

Flames ignite into a huge grudge,
With hatred burning in our eyes.

If a person repents their past sins,
Eradicate the arson of fueled anger.

Life is too short to scorch in rage,
A blaze that depletes the quality of life.

Indeed, life is too short to be offended, no matter which side of the argument you're on.
