Its a new day I say!

Thank you Lord for all the gifts that no one could afford.
The soft moon light is a delight, slowly sinking and yielding its brightness to its master the Sun with those rays devouring the meadows haze.
I have my private Star, glad Lord you put it not too close and not too far, an awesome creation. If you linger too long in its fingers you Will sing a different song. Gazing at its halo crown has a cost, for many, sight was lost.

I love the creation as I sing, the Sun, the moon, the Milky Way will make you swoon, all made by my King.
It's all free, made for you and me, the rich, the poor and many more. Some are blinded, not by the Sun but by the Prince of darkness, their hearts he has won.

As great as the Creation is by God's own hand, His masterpiece Is Man, if I forgot to mention the woman, that would be a fib, nice to have a partner especially when taken from your rib! She was
Created from your own bone, all the beauty of a man was given to the woman, makes me glad not sad.

    Thank you all for your beautiful words, God has given us Poets this Gift that none of us should hide under a bushel but give to the world as our Maker has given His awesome Gifts to us freely. He made Man/Woman in his very own image and likeness, this is why every life is precious in His sight, Jesus said that it is written that we all are gods, look at what man has achieved starting with just the materials found in the earth, leading to a Moon landing, I loved when they circled the Moon and read Genesis; In the beginning God created the earth and the Universe then allowed man to do the rest as His offspring's. Sorry so long, got one of my moments!

    Great words of wisdom Ken. God has blessed me personally in many ways and for that I will be always greatful and I thank him every day for the smallest things. Glad to see you writing again Ken, I missed you. God bless you.

    Nice piece.. you are right, we have to thank the Big Man up there always every time and everyday of our lives for giving us the blessing called LIFE plus the bonus called strength to pursue the purpose we are made for..

    I love this line, Ken. There are some things that no amount of money can buy: every sunrise and sunset, every rainbow that lines the sky and the turquoise oceans are all free and could never be priced - they truly are gifts.

    It really is lovely to see you back and writing again; your words are witty, honest and perceptive.
