CRIES FROM THE HEART

by Oluwaseye Olayode Taiwo   Sep 10, 2016

Songs of sorrow as well as joy
Days should speak
And multitude of years should teach wisdom
The spirit in spirit
The inspiration of the Almighty gives understanding
Great men are not always wise
Neither do the aged understand justice

Hearken to me
All our days are vanity
Whether we live or die
No matter how wicked
And powerful we are
One day death will knock at the door

Our days are roll in each second
Our seconds in each minutes
Our minutes in each hour
Our hours in each day
In our days our lives are spent.

My days I spend in God
The Spirit within me constrain me
My belly is as wine which has no vent
Ready to burst like new wine skin.

For this life is not mine
The spirit of God has made me
And the breadth of the Almighty has given me life
He marks all my paths
God is greater than man
Why should I strive against Him.

For God speaks once,yea twice
Yet man perceive it not
In dream, in a vision of the night,
When deep sleep falls upon men,
In slumbering upon the bed
He opens the ear of men
And seals their instruction.

It is unthinkable that God would do wrong
Even if all our days are full with troubles
For in the end it will be to His glory
Only if we are still in faith
God Almighty did step
In revealing Himself
In a second
In a moment
In an hour of the day
God takes delight in our joy
And not in pains or sorrows.
