You and your mobile phone

by Luuk   Oct 7, 2016

The sound of shackles in the train
I know it sounds insane
But believe me once I say
That you are sown to your phone
Only looking up when it's time to go
The silence in the train
You don't see the old lady in pain
Nor the father that's driving his daughter insane
Because you are on your phone
And the only time you don't is when you are alone

We are even too scared to communicate
Without this screen
And too scared to even ask
Too scared to start a wonderfull
Conversation with this old lady in pain
Giving her a bit of comfort and help without even thinking what to gain
No nowadays it's not even right
To look up and see her fight

But please try and you'll see
There was nothing to be afraid for
