The Monstrous Sun

by Golden AnGel Rhapsodist   Nov 18, 2016

The disappearing sun painted the shore orange
Your disappearing love painted the town bloody red.

Your love that used to emerge the beautiful flowers offspring
Submerged under , and became the gift for the dead soul haunting.

The birds that normally sings a love song to my ear
Turned into a roar above my head,a vulture, a scavenger.

By the rays of the sun scattered even trough the darkest corner
Became the sun that gives birth to the monster.

Now, I will never betray my trust, my heart, and myself
Nor pause to the most dangerous edge of my life's cliff.

Through prayers, the monster will be buried into the dungeon under
And I guess he will be never ever heard from again.

Across the thousand points of lights, the heavens gave me,
I will now open my mind and heart to all the bounty

Giveth by the Thee, the Almighty

thank you

    Gel, Gel, Gel...

This is amazing! The intensity, emotion and imagery leaps from the page. There is darkness and fading colour that instills sadness and anger too. Like with all traumatic events there is calm and time to regroup. This will never happen again.

    Well done,

All that glitter is never gold. Pretence is the weakest lie told. Against all odds, victory abounds. A worthwhile assurance, ma'am Gel!

Well done on this, Gel; one of your best, I feel. It has a story, imagery and some good slant rhyming. Great stuff,

    Ben
