"This Day and Age"

by J Avery Johnson   Jan 30, 2004

In this day and age, at this point and time,
Sorrow, my best friend, can usually find me crying.
At this point and time, in this day and age,
I find myself alone with my emotions in a rage.
Love- a word of mixed thoughts with different meanings...
...More hellaious than any curse or hells demons.

In this day and age at this point in time.
I live life with a smile on my face, as if my aches and pains aren't mine.
Troubles in my way, tribulations to overcome
How can it be so? Am I the only one?
Yet to make it over, I struggle to find a way...
...Until then and for now, IN JESUS NAME I PRAY.
