Boring life, this?

by Arunansu   Oct 24, 2007

She revolted, "boring life, this!
Same old spring will be bringing
a green monsoon,
and autumn will be falling to winter!"

I tried to see reason,
"Agreed. Each year must bring
at least one unique season!"

She whined,"the same rattle
of day, dusk, night and dawn!"

I nodded, "there should be some
quiet hours for your own."

Giving me a cold look, she howled,
"Same YOU, your stupid thoughts
and these silly books!" throwing them
to the ground.)

"You need . . . something else?"

She smiled, "Robin, lets opt for a change.
Let me be with Martin, and you be with
Maria, his girlfriend!! . . . Come on . . . just for a year!"

These are moments
when words like 'awestruck' fade.
"You are not serious, Lucy?"

"I am. I've been brooding over this.
Let this autumn be green, Robin!"

"With that fool, Martin?"
"Yes, Martin."

My reply was silence.
I guess I am fine
with spring bringing in
monsoon, auburn autumn
falling to winter
and with Lucy by my side ( not Maria please)!

Yet some people will grumble,
"boring life, this!"
