Cologne

by Arunansu   Jan 29, 2008

[Earlier written as "Some shy roses", this is my third and final attempt]

Cluster of roses
on my windowsill,

draped with morning.

Murky sky,
curtains of downpour,
added to their sweet languor.

Caressing a canvas,
brushes uttered softly,
"feed them in the gentle spray"

I kept the windows stretched out,

little ones
slept unperturbed;
velvety lips
curved in bliss.

Dreamy odor painted
fresh colours.
