Wonderful S! Such a powerful three lines!! It has so many questions to go with it. Was it self harm? An accident? Something else?

    5/5 well done

The little I did sleep last night produced this, so I can't say in spite of the nightmares that it wasn't a productive night.

      Thank you, N!

    Hello Stephen,

As Naomi says, this is an excellent senryu that has multiple possibilities to be considered.
Personally, I have an image of someone hurting someone else and asking the police that last-line question - a stupid and perhaps slightly unbalanced one considering the injury is bad enough for an ambulance to be needed.
That's how I read it, anyway, but it is the different possibilities that make this poem so chilling, simply because not a one of them is good.

    S. A very powerful write within 3 lines with endless possibility as the others have already stated which makes the reader ponder and want more.
Fantastic job and one that I felt (and did) needed nominating.

    All the best, Em

It won't let me reply to Sir L for some reason, so I'll just thank you both in this spot right here. To think, all these Senryu's from me started when I read your piece "Please be careful", Em!

Thank you for the comment, Sir L; and for the comment/nom, Em!!

Stephen, in 3 short lines you have managed to open up about a million questions, none of them pointing to a happy outcome. Well done!

This is too open-ended for me. Not in a bad way, though. It just makes my mind run amuck with different scenes that this could be in. Did she kill someone, is the government after her, did she get injured, ect. This is probably what you were going for. Provocation.
