Works Both Ways..?

by C Cattaway   Mar 23, 2010

At times, I think I'm missing you,
but then I check myself.
For I have got my dad with me,
And he's who knows me best.

I want to share my life with you,
but you still shun my heart.
For I am not not responsible
That we are miles apart.

The effort is not mine to make,
You're meant to be the grown up.
And yes, I am an adult, now
But really, father, own up.

I text, I write, I e-mail, but
If you do not reply,
Then you should beg, to get to know me.
Don't you dare ask why!

xx

For Dani.. Remember, you have your dad, & he loves you, even without his blood running through your veins.
