I never saw Blue like that

by Melissa   Jan 3, 2014

I could lose myself to us,
wiggle my toes in the grassy blades
of our colloquy,
sunbathe beneath the wild heat
of your latest exclamation,

pant at its flame

Your words lick my spine
like a possessive lover,
branding me with their claims

I burn too deep, blue

It feels like summer fastened itself
to the soles of my feet

^ Melissa, how in your beautiful mind and soul do you come up with such lovely lines of poetry.

I missed this. So much intimacy and attraction.
