Socrates' Soliloquy

by donk2ymouth   May 25, 2016

This is a rhetoric
a thespian production
a mimicry of art
and art follows life
and life is stranger than fiction
so it comes as no surprise
when words flow easy; like liquor
unto the paper chalice of truth
drink.
for this the blood of life
the body of art
the mind of cChrist-
the real one, i saw the biopic
that dissolved the controversies
regarding all related concepts

and when the sun goes down
as do we, hands and knees
sing a song of silence and praise
to the realistic artistic reality of today
rhetorically, speaking.
