Somehow this reads like one big metaphor about a beautiful woman, who is lonely in spite of her looks..something about a past haunting her?
I don't know, I could be wrong about this all, but the poem is beautiful, with or without a second layer hidden:)

This is an amazingly beautiful write, made even more amazing because it is an acrostic, which is a difficult form to pull off. Great language and imagery and nice use of double-entendre.
