Nik, wonderful. What a nice view you must have from your window. You captured the essences of fall in your words. Well done.

Hi Nik...
I have always loved the coloring leaves and the smell of leaves burning. I also have a great liking for canaries and bluebirds. Anyways...I enjoyed this piece...thanx.
Peace...

A beautiful story hope and survival. Even when the other leaves fall and the blue bird flies away that leaf still stands strong. You gotta love a lovely piece like this. Well done!
Take care,

This read like a story to me...and as if the person watching this scene wrote the poem as they watched it. I can't say this is my favorite, but it's okay. I think the last two lines were the most powerful.

This was kind of simple but I liked it. When I was reading it I compared it to growing up or being in high school. Everybody starts to smoke or head down the wrong path, everybody you've been friends with for so long and you fight so hard not to fall down into what they've become. Not really a nature poem kind of guy but this was differant and cool. 5/5 I hope the little green leaf doesn't start smoking :p
