I got a picture of a snowman but while reading also got the image of the...what is it called a Yeti...you know the scary white snowman/animal.

There is an underlying sadness which touches a reader's heart. We are looking at a thing which others only see it as a decoration or a scary myth but deep inside this winterman there are feelings.

I also got a picture of a man. How society views this man has a cold heart-ed person but inside him there is sadness. Maybe not but I can picture this...nicely penned.

Joe saw it to be a man with utter desolation in his soul in a landscape to match. We took it from there.

I see a dark perspective here, dressed in nature verse :)

Remarkable poem, Larry. The character in this writing some how brought to me many images from "The Lord of The Rings", Melancholic, still showing majesty and struggling fears.

Thank you and Joe for sharing, interesting read.

A dark and oppressive write that is seamless considering it's a collaboration.
    Wonderful imagery employed throughout.
Well done on this piece - highly accomplished work.
    All the best,
    Ben
