Michael I loved this when I first read it but that competition was so hard to vote on all those poems were truly magical in there own ways.

I love the structure of this from first drop to last. You write about that cycle perfectly.

    Hello Michael

This got my vote, not least because we have been teaching my youngest the water cycle recently!
Aside from that, it really is a rather good little piece of writing that displays your usual brilliant and creative flair.
All the best and take care,
    Ben

I was tempted to vote for this one. After reading it many times, I ended up being confused. I was not sure if my interpretation of the poem was due to the poem itself, or if like most of the times, my intepretation is solely on what is already ingrain in me at the moment of reading.

But the poem reminded me of a thought I had when I read one of ddavidds poems-
    My thought was:
One drop, two drops, tree drops.... make an ocean. Most likely I was reading your poem in a religious way.

After reading it again, I can see the journey that one drop undertakes.
