If this sun should

If the sun should turn to ice
then wouldn't that be very nice?
If the sun should turn to rain
then wouldn't that be very plain?
If the sun shoud turn to snow
then wouldn't that make us all glow?
If the sun should turn to wind
then wouldn't that be enough for us to sing?
But for now the sun shall be the sun
and we will all have summer fun.
If it was icy all the time
then we wouldn't be able to climb.
If the rain would happen to pour like a monsoon,
then we would be glad to see noon.
If it did snow like never before;
I'd be on the inside of the door.
If it was windy then it sure would be cold;
I'd be glad of somebody that I could hold.
So, for now I'm glad of the sun,
because I do really like having summer fun.
