Mad winds throw dead leaves
toward trees that quiver with
nothing left to give.

5/5.When the mad blows of life shake one, they fall like the dead leaves and hold nothing to themselves.

    Excellent write.

What a powerful haiku.. There are several meanings built up in this 5-7-5 form that it blows me away (pun intended , ha)

On a metaphoric perspective, the reader can feel the stressors of life giving a person more than they can handle.. Thunderstorms of life..

Then on the basic message of nature I have seen trees "whipped" around and twisted in storms so darn violent that it amazes me they are standing...

What a beautiful piece this is.. enjoyed it!!
