Falling Star Confessions

by Maple Tree   Jun 20, 2016

My dearest Moon,

I was decieved by your beauty-

innocence ran wild as breezes
began to flow through tangled visions,
I was drunk on a crush that never
knew my name, only my place
In the sky above.

Deep within a mystical thought
was a letter filled with romantic
words, their meaning was unknown
to me,
but it sounded so elegant that
I was sure your beauty and my
melody would fill his heart with

adoration.

However-

You failed to mention,
when a cloud shrouds
your silhouette,
poisionous shadows
shall unveil the true nature
of a soul who never wanted
sparkle or my love,

he only wanted the sun to rise
because he was afraid of the dark.

When in darkness
there is light,

my aura was always
In love with you....

forever and always,

A fallen star.
