Senses Of Nature

by Peter DeJesse   Jan 18, 2006

Leaves rustling in the wind
Trees sway waving at me
Streams and bubbling brooks
Rivers flow to the sea

Gentle breezes blow over me
Sky above is wide and long
Fluffy white clouds calm my soul
Birds singing their wonderful song

Dreaming of peace nature brings
Hearing her soothing beat
Relaxes every nerve in my body
Peace and tranquility tastes sweet

Oh this is wonderful. Beautiful imagery, tranquil setting. Beautifully written. I was just trying to write the same sort of thing in Ballade format. So far I'm failing =D
