Your perfection

by Valerie   Feb 7, 2008

Your soft, lingering touch haunts me at night
Your tender, mesmerizing self merely an illusionary knight
Your deep, whispering voice taunts me in my dreams
Your abiding, yet alluring eyes piercing me with deluding gleams

Your magnetic, melting smile outshines the rain
Your breathtaking, yet enchanting scent drives me insane
Your lost, presence makes me feel hollow inside
Yet, your perfect, charming laughter leaves me aside

Your bittersweet, cherishing embraces are what I long for
Your extraordinary and unique mind never leaving my door
Your simplistic, comforting words make me inspired
For, your emotional, but enigmatic love is what's most desired

Your angelic, virtuous self is what makes me love you
Your dignifying and worthy passion is what keeps me true
Your unending promises are what kept me hanging on
Though, your innocence, and truthful judgment is now forever gone

You're the idealism of perfection
The walking path to eternal prosperity
But for your affections, in return have caused me much rejection.
For I don't deserve this, when I have given you all of my sincerity
To mark the end of this, I have decided to tell you one last time
Forever shall I hope that you will remember this rhyme
Loving you has caused me to be upset
But once again never shall I forget or regret.
