Whats Left

by Nathan Cavitt   Feb 13, 2008

My friends are leaving
as the world unfolds
taken by little creatures
to places untold

As the time goes on
I lose my hair
waiting for the world to change
this hard life is unfair

I hold animals
to keep them safe
they soon went away
what a lonely place

I shed my skin
and my hair doesn't grow
theres creatures around me
who I'll never know

What is this place?
how can this be?
I'm the last one
I'm the last tree.
