Beautiful

by Countess of Monte Cristo   Feb 16, 2008

I am beautiful
I am strong
I should have had more faith in myself before
The fact is you are jealous of me.. But correct me if i am wrong

"I" should not be used so often
But I have never thought of myself that much..
Although what I wanted was a simple nice word
Probably a hug, a reassuring word, or a tender touch

Today I shall forsake all hope of your repentance
You will never regret all the horrible things that you did
Stay that way.. But I will take my vengeance
The devil within you will be discovered.. I will win my bid

I hate you.. Three words that have been released from the core of my heart
I will not deny my hatred towards you anymore
I hate you again and again and again
I was wrong not to admit this.. What was I waiting for?

Maybe I was waiting for you to conquer your dark side
It turned out that all of you is dark
You were mistaken in thinking me weak
You expected i would fall from your degrading remark

No.. I shall bloom like a flower that blooms after a rainy day
Colorful.. and fresh with every breeze of wind..
I shall fall ten times.. and get up after every fall..
Many do love me .. And luck is my friend

You can keep throwing your misery and your failing reality on me..
And i will keep fighting you off and off again
Destiny has decided that you will inevitably fail
For it has prematurely prepared its paper and pen

I am beautiful
I am strong
I am perseverance
I am determination
And I am your nightmare as well

I am pure
I am innocent
I am gracious
I am humble
And I am the person that you can hardly put down
I am mercy
I am love
I am peace
Like a free soaring dove

I am human
I am the best
I am me
But i will be sure to put you to the test

I am your nightmare
I am your fright
But you are the darkness
That will never see the light

You are miserable. .that is all I can tell
I am an angel.. But your nightmare as well.
