Farewell.

by Misty   Feb 20, 2008

Farewell
My body forced to turn into the opposite direction
To look directly into the present
Your face:
Like staring strait into the sun
My eyes:
Squint,
But eventually succumb to the beams
And tightly squeeze closed
Only to birth tears
To admit my body and soul are not one
To witness my pounding heart
Puncture through my chest plate
As if its made of egg shells
To wish for deafness
So I will not hear the hallow hellos
And the nonexistent goodbyes
A bitter and fading departure
That will never receive a
Farewell
