Where is the happiness?

by Poetic Ninja aka Papachopchop   Feb 23, 2008

As we live our life,
You can't help but look around,
Where is the happiness in life,
For some it can't be found,

Happiness comes from within,
Not from the things we accomplish,
Some will realize this now,
Others on their dying wish,

For some people only,
Care about money making,
It's got them all twisted,
In the wrong direction,

Feel life out for what it is,
All its glory and wonder,
Experience the world,
Don't just sit there and ponder,

Every man dies,
But not every man truly lives,
Find what fuels your desire,
And use it as your drive,

Find that passion and use it,
Embrace it as your own,
Live it through every fiber,
Make it your kings throne,

If you can do this,
Happiness you will own,
And If you can't,
You will wish you would have known.

This is really good, and I think the reason why some people really can't find and experience happiness is because of fear, doubt, past hurts, and if they'ver never really known what happiness is then how are they to recognize it when and if they come across it.
