It's not easy imitating barbie

by StandStill   Feb 27, 2008

I'll curl my hair
and line my lips
and I'll put on clothes
that give me a curve in my hips

I'll paint my nails
pink or red
and stop eating
loose weight til I'm dead

I'll spend all my money
and most of my time
on worrying about
making it MINE

And I'll feel oh so empty
I'll feel like the trash
so I'll just go shopping
with my daddy's cash

And I'll wear this fake smile
painted on my lips
and I'll make sure to always
leave a decent tip

And this is the life
I chose for my self
but play time is over
put me back on the shelf

It's not easy
imitating Barbie
