Sticking to Little Hope

by kia   Mar 4, 2008

You're cold to me
You hurt me
You use me
Yet I stick around

You're the only safety I know
So I don't have it in my heart
To see you let me go
So I'll hold tight to my hope

Even though you don't know I exist
And you resent the way I love you
I'll sit tight and wait for a change
Although it may never come

I can't see myself with anyone else
I only want to be with you
But you won't hold me close
Too use to being alone

So I fight for your attention
And I cry into my pillow when you ignore me
I apologize profusely for letting you hurt me
How stupid can I be?

Yet I stick around
No one else will ignore my intimate tears
And no one else will put up with my hang-ups
So I stick around

Really nice poem, " youre cold to me you hurt me you use me yet i stuck around " this is very nice, kinda explains you whole poem but i guess it should be, " you were cold to me, you hurt me, you used me, yet i stuck around. " I bet commas helps maintain the flow. Good work

I know how this feels. no matter how much you're there for them. it still doesn't mean anything. and you feel like you've been forgotten. but this poem was nice. good stuff. =)
