Scream Your Lungs Sore, Then Hit The Floor

by Infected with His Deadly Love   Mar 9, 2008

Scream Your Lungs Sore, Then Hit The Floor

Time passes slowly, you look in the mirror
Tears dropping and mascara running
You realise this is your fate; and you
Scream your lungs sore, then hit the floor

There's nothing you can do now
You can't stop it, its ending too fast
The voices tell you its all your fault
And you deserve to die

Blood pouring, no one knows
Silently waiting for the sirens to sound
Pitch black; floor covered in red
Your heart is torn and who cares?

This is it, the end of the line
You can't rewind what you have done
What to do? There's nothing; so just
Scream your lungs sore, then hit the floor

^^ my favorite stanza...the who cares made me feel sick, honestly. because i've been asking myself that for what feels like forever...

this poem is dark, sad, angry...perfect. 5.5
