Seven months

You've been in heaven seven months now
I would come and see you, only if I knew how
The days have gone by faster than I thought
Everyday was a struggle, but I still fought

I held my head high, even though I've missed you so
I think of you whenever I feel the wind blow
You're still here, I can feel your love
When I'm down you give me a little push and a shove

I gave daddy a picture of you and him at hooks
He has it out so people will see it and look
We talk about you a lot, more than we know
No matter what our love for you will always show

You're still a bigger part of us all
All the dolls you gave me are against my wall
I love you a lot, but I guess you already know
I'll keep you in my heart where ever I go.

    Oh my gosg, Nelle! You made me cry! I seriously have tears rolling down my face. This was so freaking sad, yet so sweet. I have someone I think about when I read this. I guess that's why I'm crying, because it made me think of them. This was just a heart-breakingly sweet poem. I have nothing bad at all to say about it.
