Who would capture the Servant's Throne?

by FiNIX   Mar 15, 2008

I was reading everything from time to time

and even tried to read between the lines.

Though my thoughts could say that I know what you meant

I still cant understand a thing-

of times of yore

Vagueness--- lingers

elusiveness

of the Contemporary

Beyond temptation

thats what you are

thats who you are

or someone youre pretending to be

hiding behind a mask of pretence.

There was a throne,

a single throne,

but everyone wants to be the king

Everyone claims to be the king!

do you want to be the king?

Nobody knows defeat--- or accepts defeat

or can defeat be recognized?

Even defeat pretends to be the glory.

And the glory becomes a worthless fruit of deceit.

Dust and dirt comes in unison.

Precious stones become filthy rugs.

Everybody wants to be the king.

Everyone wants to be number one.

And there is only one throne of splendor.

A fabulous seat of deceptive servant hood.

Only one could claim the title.

You lost the chance that you werent given

Unworthy of the claim
