Elements of Love

Together we will make a start
The rose bud within my chest,
The love flowing in my heart,
Is the same place where our sun sets.

The vines which entangle our hearts,
Flow deep into the soil below,
Foundations forever strong,
Our love will always grow.

As the waves try and break us down,
And the winds keep us apart,
Like the rainbow after the storm,
Our flower blossoms within my heart.

Forever our seeds will grow,
No matter what drought we face,
You are the one, I know,
In my heart, you will always have a place.

    Ben, I do love you so much. This piece is so, so gorgeous. I couldn't resist commenting again! =p Really, love. This one pulls at the heartstrings! Nearly brings tears to my eyes.     I could hear you reciting this to me
    as I read it. It made it much more personal,
    you know? Ahh. It was nice. =)

    I'd never think up this idea,
    it's so wonderful. So good.

    "The vines which entangle our hearts,

    Our love will always grow."

    ^That's^ my favorite stanza by you.
    Evereverever. It flows so beautifully,
    and the imagery's magnificent.
    I can almost see it in my mind.
    It feels like there's so much heart,
    so many emotions poured into those lines;
    you mean those words so honestly.
    It's good, Ben, real good. =)
