The Silly Little Caterpillar and the Beautiful Butterfly.

READER: This isn't really a Poem. More of ... a Story.
Yeah. A Bed-time story.
That I tell to my Baby Brother.
I made it all on my own.
:D

***********************************

There was once a Caterpillar.
'Twas an ugly little thing.
Brown was the only color it knew.
Brown and Grey.
One day, the Caterpillar met a Butterfly.
Their meeting was out of chance;
One in a million.
This Butterfly had the most beautiful pair of Wings.
Every color of the rainbow could be found on these Wings.
Even colors not yet discovered.
Colors that no other Butterfly possessed.

The Caterpillar soon found itself falling in Love with the Butterfly.
The Butterfly with the beautiful Wings.
All the Silly Little Caterpillar dreamed of was the Beautiful Butterfly and its beautiful Wings.

This Love that the Silly Little Caterpillar had for the Beautiful Butterfly was soon overpowering the poor thing.
Blooming more and more each day.
Soon it was a Beautiful Flower.
Nearly as beautiful as the Butterfly.

For the longest time, the Silly Little Caterpillar loved the Beautiful Butterfly.
For the longest time, the Beautiful Butterfly hardened their heart;
"I don't love you," it'd say.

Although those words hurt the Silly Little Caterpillar more than anything; it couldn't stop Loving the Beautiful Butterfly.
It couldn't let go.

As time progressed, the Butterfly hardens its heart more and more, and the Silly Little Caterpillar's Love grew larger and larger.

Nobody knows what became of the Beautiful Butterfly.
Nobody cares what happened to the Silly Little Caterpillar.
That's how the story's told.
