Fragile Treasure

Fragile Treasure

Must beat her unconscious, says he.
Says I, unpopular act such remains.
Even Muhammad Ali "The Greatest" said,
"Beating people up is unpleasant."

I'll kick you, says he, downstairs.
Unfair behavior such remains, says I.
Imagine the feeling of one;
One were, perhaps, the wife.

Any disobedience, cane her, says he.
Says I, unworthy conduct such remains.
Even animals with their
Strength partners are protected.

To death, says he, flog her.
Unappreciated manner such remains, says I.
Imagine alive without a sweetheart,
What a bland it be.

No beating, no respect, says he.
Says I, unreasonable terms such remain.
Even on the pretext of whatever,
One shouldn't some-why kick-slap.
