I, I've always been lost when it comes to you
Feelings of truth and feelings of doubt
A fiery passion that burns deep
Postures I'd never stand
But here I am, listening again
Being the drone
Living within

We water down these brief moments of solitude
Staring off into the stars
Staring off into what was us
Fields of fire and empty hopes
I've lost your life again

I've watered down my empty soul
I ask you please just hold, I need to hear you say
I just cannot make it on my own, just won't make it on my own

I wonder about me
How can I keep breathing in you
The death of one, but the life of another
Where does this truly end?
When can I continue my life again, my life again?

Please I beg you just hold
I cannot make it on my own, just won't make it on my own
I need this to be over
Or I'll never be my own

Hey, this is a pretty good poem. =] Well, I like it. It flowed pretty well, and the meaning hits a point that almost everyone feels at one point. It was very interesting the way you put things. Well done. =]

Wow. the flow of this is pretty good! and i really like the story it tells. it's desperate..but in a sweet way.

^ i really liked this, especially since i am looking at the stars out my window right now. it just seemed relatable. i also liked the first line for the vocabulary.

    good job
