To My Brother.

by Trying To Love Is The Hardest Thing   Mar 28, 2008

You were my first word, sputtered between my clumsy baby lips,as you rocked me to sleep. In your strong four-year old arms, holding my head just as mom told you.

As a mouse is to a elephant you tower over me.
I will always stumble along, behind you footsteps in the muddy path, as a blind man would in a room filled with set mouse traps

Though I Love You, that love is scarred with envy. With everything you accomplish, the jealously grows.

Every moment with you is precious time.
