With Love... Even lullabies change tune.

by Quietly Versed   Mar 30, 2008

With tears in her eyes she kisses your tears away,
Her breath passing softly as your own quickly fades.
She is your lasting love; your security is sure to stay,
Yet, take heed in her promises made.

Detect the gaze in her eyes that fills your heart with warmth,
For too soon boredom naturally takes position.
Sense her exact beam that sanctions your worth,
For in falsehood it will make a deceitful transition.

When she holds you nigh her breast hold attentive to the pounding of her heart.
Squeeze her- hold her- love her!
Mold to such a plot.
For in time, with softness, her rhythm shall resound.
Love fades- love fades- love fades.
In agony your heart shall pound.

Seek no more thy thoughts of intimacy,
Bathing her back and clothing her golden skin.
Lean in close as if to kiss hug goodbye
Become her stranger... leave her lie.

I like the rhythm and flow through the whole poem, they're interesting. You expressed feelings within this piece greatly, every stanza holds many deep emotions.
I like your choice of words from the beginning to the end. You also created intense atmosphere. Very original poem.
The fourth stanza is my favorite one, I especially like the repetition of "love fades".
    Great and enjoyable read.
