I Love you

My heart beats so fast every time you walk by me
I fake a smile and pretend that I am happy
What should I do for you to notice me?
You told me that you hate a girl that writes poetry

Crystal tears fall down my eyes every night
I wish you could wipe my tears and tell me everything's going to be alright
I wish I could tell you what's inside of me
Instead of hiding it and pretending that I am all happy

I held my head up high and walked with pride
I am not going to lie or my love that I'll hide
I am practically a grown woman and exactly know what to do
I am going to say those exact three words 'I love you'
