    It does not matter
    how I find her,
    tranquil or
    roaring with passion.
    I love all her faces.

Oh Ingrid you have painted such a vivid picture with these words. Though I didn't know till near the end what exactly inspired these words ... upon the re-read the picture became so clear and the visuals it gave me were amazing.

    She embraces me
    with all she's got
    Lifts me up
    and leaves me
    floating
    in complete ecstasy.
    ^^^
This part leaves the reader with such a feeling of tranquility. Its as though all our trouble float away .... as we feel weighless above the water.
Beautiful feeling this stanza leaves me with.

    How I love her....
    my lady,
    the sea.
    ^^
The ending wraps up this piece fantastically.

You caught my attention from the beginning and held it to the very last words.

Wonderful read Ingrid! You have left me today with such a beautiful image and a peace filled heart.

What a wonderful piece you have penned. The imagery is awesome.

    She embraces me
    with all she's got
    Lifts me up
    and leaves me
    floating
    in complete ecstasy.

I love these lines. Oh what a wonderful feeling to be floating surrounded by all the waters beauty.

    How I love her....
    my lady,
    the sea

The ending is perfect. You did a really fantastic job on this.

I agree with everyone above, good work and nice words that have spilled from the poets pen. Whenever i need to find good poems this section " nature" never fails to deliver. There are alot of good works here. Yours is one of them

Wow, even my vote to this poem for the weekly contest couldnt prove how much i liked it. This one is awesome and so refreshing. So unique and simple...but still too deep. I really like such poems a lot.

    Ingrid,
Such an eloquent way of relating your love of the sea. It is very evident in the readers eye that the sea heals you. It is your life's muse. Fantastic job dear.

This could be a poem about unconditional love, the only true kind. Do you love her when she is cold?

    Dear Ingrid

this is so beautifully done. I am just back from a holiday by the sea and it inspired me enough to get back to writing. Now, reading your verse tells me how similar our love for this beautiful creation is!
    well done

I really love the imagery you use and the personification. In the beginning i thought you were talking about a person then it all made sense. It proves that love isn't only for a person, we can actually have a passion for anything. Very inspiring. Great write 5/5

Btw, I would love to see a writing like this if you used imagery that described a person, but surprised the reader at the end with the concluding statements of your concluding statement:

    How I love her....
    my lady,
    the sea.

I think that would be a possible variation that you might look into. It would be a good writing technique. Just a suggestion though! I always try to throw one in, but this time i really have to dig because i love it so much! haha.

Beautifully penned piece. Not many people can write like this, and you mastered that quality wonderfully... most people don't have a wide imagination or the ability to use certain words.. but you can, considering. :) I loved reading this, Ingrid; it is a very outstandingly-written poem and more. Take care!
