Seeing What's Inside

by putting the pieces back together   Apr 1, 2008

I look outside and see a reflection of what's buried deep within
The sky, consumed by clouds of gray, unable to let the sun show through
Rain like buckets of sorrow falling from their soul
The pain's so great and the sadness is unbelievably overwhelming; I can't even move
Thunder crashes as I scream out his name
I cry and cry, the tears pouring out of my soul
He turned and walked away leaving me broken and bleeding here all alone
He's with her and I'm the reason for my broken heart
Lying here I wish I could turn the clock back far enough to know where we went wrong.

I've been down this road... I don't know if your situations the same. I got chated on.. The great pain you describe in this is something I know the feeling of all too well. Nobody should have to go through this and it really is how it feels to have a broken heart. If you ever wanna talk, just throw me a PM. I'm happy to sit and listen and help if I can. An amazing piece although very sad and deep.
